A MAN in China outsmarted a parking space hogger by using his car’s self-parking feature, China Press reported.

In a CCTV clip circulating online, a woman is seen standing in a parking bay to reserve the spot.

As a car approached, the driver honked to signal the woman to move, but she ignored him.

The driver then got out to speak to her but walked away shortly after, deliberately leaving his vehicle positioned in a way that blocked other cars from entering the lot.

The woman eventually ran after the driver.

At that point, he activated his vehicle’s self-parking function, and the car reversed smoothly and perfectly into the parking space.

The video has since garnered more than 10 million views, with many Internet users saying they felt an odd sense of satisfaction watching the man outsmart the parking space hogger.

> The daily also reported that three nurses in Penang have started a mobile bathing service to help bedridden people shower in the comfort of their homes.

One of them, intensive care ward nurse Hazel Lye, 30, said she had seen patients who were unable to clean themselves suffer.

Realising there were many more bedridden people outside the hospital, she teamed up with two other like-minded nurses to provide the service on their days off, charging RM250 per session.

Lye said they bring a full set of bathing equipment, including inflatable bathtubs, shower heads and water pumps, to clients’ homes.

“It may seem like a simple bath to others. But to the patients, it is dignity, it is love and it is one of the few things a family can provide for their loved ones,” she said.
