Sabah polls: EC announces full results


KOTA KINABALU: The Election Commission (EC) has announced the final outcome of the 17th Sabah Election, with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) securing 29 seats to emerge as the largest bloc.

Speaking at a press conference at the Federal Government Administration Complex Sabah at 2.10am on Sunday (Nov 30), EC chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun said the official tally has GRS winning 29 aseats, Warisan (25), Barisan Nasional (six), Independents (five), Upko (three), Sabah STAR (two) and one each for Pakatan Harapan, Perikatan Nasional and KDM.

He said voter turnout was 64.35%, involving ordinary voters, postal voters and early voters for a total of 1,148,476 voters.

Ramlan said the complete official results would be conveyed to Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Musa Aman.
