Sabah polls: Hajiji arrives at Istana Seri Kinabalu at 1.30am


KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has arrived at Istana Seri Kinabalu at 1.30am on Sunday (Nov 30), shortly after securing a simple majority of 37 seats together with Upko, Pakatan Harapan and several independents.

It is expected that Hajiji will seek an audience with Sabah Governor Tun Musa Aman to inform him that he has the numbers. He is anticipated to be sworn in shortly.

GRS has won 30 seats, Upko three, Pakatan one and possibly several of the five independents.
