MetMalaysia issues tropical depression advisory


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued an advisory on a tropical depression which may cause strong winds and rough seas in the South China Sea

In a statement on Sunday (Nov 30), the department said the tropical depression was detected at 11 am at latitude 6.7 north and longitude 109.4 east, approximately 518 km northwest of Mukah, Sarawak.

It added that the storm was moving northeast at a speed of 19 km/h with a maximum wind speed of 46 km/h. - Bernama
