KUALA LUMPUR: Rapid KL has introduced the digital Rapid Monthly Pass, an unlimited travel pass that can be purchased and activated through the Touch ‘n Go (TnG) eWallet application.
In a statement, Rapid KL said users can activate or renew their monthly pass via their smartphones and enjoy unlimited travel across the LRT, MRT, Monorail, Sunway BRT, Rapid KL bus and MRT feeder bus networks.
It added that the pass is offered at RM150 and is valid for 30 consecutive days, making it easier for public transport users to go about their daily commute while enjoying savings.
Users only need to ensure that their smartphones support Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality and that their TnG eWallet application is updated to the latest version to use the facility.
Meanwhile, physical purchases of the pass at Rapid KL station counters will continue to be available for users who prefer the conventional method. – Bernama
