Smooth start for SPM written exams in Penang


NIBONG TEBAL: The first day of written examinations for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 started smoothly on Tuesday (Nov 25).

Penang state education director Mohamad Dziauddin Mat Saad said a total of 20,060 SPM candidates are sitting for the exams at 156 designated examination centres in the state.

"A total of 1,973 exam invigilators have been appointed to ensure that the exams are conducted properly," he said during a press conference at SMK Jawi.

Earlier, Mohammad Dziauddin spent about 30 minutes welcoming candidates at the school.

He took the opportunity to wish good luck to the candidates.
