Floods: M’sians stranded in Hatyai told to gather at respective hotel lobbies for evacuation


SONGKHLA: The Malaysian Consulate-General here has instructed Malaysians stranded at hotels in Hatyai to gather at their respective hotel lobbies as local authorities prepare to relocate them to safer locations.

In a notice issued on Nov 23, the consulate said coordination efforts with Hatyai authorities have begun and the temporary relocation operation will be carried out soon.

It added that the cooperation of Malaysians affected by the situation is crucial to ensure a smooth evacuation process.

Those requiring further information have been advised to contact the duty officer at the Consulate-General via the mobile number provided in the notice: +6681-9901930.
