Jalan Tun Sardon closed until Oct 31


GEORGE TOWN: The closure of state road P14, or Jalan Tun Sardon (Bukit Baru), near here, following a landslide on Thursday, has been extended until Oct 31.

Penang Infrastructure, Transport and Digital Committee chairman Zairil Khir Johari said currently, there are no new landslides or incidents along the affected road.

"Public Works Department contractors have begun cleanup works since early this morning at areas that are currently safe to access.

"The route remains closed to the public, with the closure extended until 6 pm on Oct 31," he said in a statement on Sunday (Oct 26). – Bernama
