THE death of Hong Kong singer-songwriter Khalil Fong in February at the age of 41 has impacted artiste Kay Tse, 48, so much that she will not be performing his songs during her upcoming concert in Malaysia.
Tse said she was still struggling to come to terms with his passing, China Press reported.
“It’s far too difficult for me to remember this dear friend on stage,” she said.
Fong, a winner of the prestigious Golden Melody Award, had written several hit songs for Tse.
She will hold her Tidal World Tour in Malaysia on Dec 13.
Speaking about her first ever concert in Malaysia, Tse said she was eager to meet local fans here.
Her two children will also be part of the trip.
She said her son previously joined a school trip to Malaysia and absolutely loved the country.
“When I told him I will be going (to Malaysia), he gave me his full support immediately,” she said.
