THE Indian community in Rawang is up in arms over the decision to build a new building on the field of a Tamil school, Malaysia Nanban reported.

SJK (T) Rawang’s former school board chairman Datuk Suresh Rao said the Education Ministry wants to build the new classroom building on the school playground.

The school board, management, parents of pupils and local community are urging for the two old school buildings to be removed and for the new six-classroom building to be situated there instead. This will help preserve the school field, they said.
