HE warned the young man to stop dating his daughter but the couple refused to break up.
Identified as Sudhagar from Tamil Nadu, India, he had been infuriated when he found out his daughter, Karthika, was dating a young man named Sanjay, Malaysia Nanban reported.
When Sudhagar discovered that the young couple had not complied with his demand to stop seeing each other, he went over to Sanjay’s house, apparently ready to kill him.
But Sanjay was not at home then. So Sudhagar attacked Sanjay’s father with a knife.
The victim sustained serious injuries to his face, hands, and legs and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Police are now looking for Sudhagar who was apparently involved as well in the 2011 murder of a local politician.
