Penang cop's death linked to personal woes, says CPO


KEPALA BATAS: The policeman who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the Penang Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) last Tuesday was believed to have been dealing with personal and financial issues, says state police chief Datuk Hamzah Ahmad.

He said investigations and interviews conducted with individuals close to the victim revealed that the officer was facing emotional distress, possibly linked to money issues.
