RM3,150 to train each National Service trainee, Defence Ministry says


PETALING JAYA: The cost allocated for each National Service Training Programme trainee is RM3,150 for 45 days of training, according to the Defence Ministry.

Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said that the amount covers meals, insurance, travel allowances, and clothing for formal and sports attire for each trainee to a tune of RM70 per day.
