Perlis territorial army camp to be national service training venue from July to Aug

PETALING JAYA: The 504th Territorial Army Regiment Camp in Bukit Keteri, Perlis, has been selected as the venue for Series 3 of the National Service Training Programme (PLKN) 3.0, which will run for 45 days from July 11 to Aug 24.

The National Service Training Department (JLKN) said prospective trainees born in 2008 can check their selection status through the ePLKN 3.0 system from 3pm on Monday (May 11).

“To ensure a smooth registration and administrative process, selected trainees are required to confirm their attendance through the ePLKN 3.0 system no later than June 19, 2026, which is the deadline for the offer,” it said in a statement.

JLKN said the addition of the new location brings the total number of training camps operating this year to three, alongside the 515th Territorial Army Regiment Camp in Kuala Lumpur and the 505th Territorial Army Regiment Camp in Pekan, Pahang.

It said that during the initial operational phase, Bukit Keteri Camp will accommodate 120 female trainees for the implementation of Series 3/2026.

“The camp is expected to be fully completed this year and will be capable of accommodating nearly 500 trainees at any one time.

“The facilities at the camp have also been developed and upgraded with a modern concept, including accommodation blocks, support facilities, basic infrastructure, places of worship and more comfortable and conducive training facilities,” it said.

The department added that announcements for future PLKN 3.0 training series would be made in stages periodically.

Prospective trainees for this year are advised to stay alert to official JLKN announcements and regularly check the ePLKN 3.0 system.

“JLKN also stresses that attendance for selected trainees is compulsory.

“Failure to report without a reasonable excuse may be deemed as disobeying instructions and action may be taken under Section 18(1) of the National Service Training Act,” it added.
