PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected over the states of Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang).
Other states are Federal Territory, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor (Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat and Pontian).

Also affected are areas in Sarawak - Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Sibu (Selangau), Mukah (Dalat and Mukah) and Bintulu (Tatau).
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said in an advisory that the forecast was until 6pm on Wednesday (Dec 18).
