SEREMBAN: Three Bangladeshis were killed in a fight in Taman Linggi in Port Dickson near here, says Deputy Comm Datuk Alzafny Ahmad.
The Negri Sembilan CPO said the incident happened around 4.15pm on Monday.
“A police team was sent to the house after they received a call that a group of Bangladeshis were involved in a fight in a house.
“A man in his 40s, believed to be involved in the murders, was arrested,” he said.
DCP Alzafny said one Bangladeshi national suffered injuries and was sent to Rembau Hospital for treatment.
“Preliminary probe has revealed that all the victims and the suspect worked in a plantation and lived in the same house.
He said the remains of two deceased were found in Ladang Sua Manggis and the third at the house they lived in.
The case, he said, is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
He said police have obtained an order to remand the suspect for seven days.
Police also seized a sickle from the suspect, which was believed to have been used in the crime.
“We are still probing the motive of the murders,” he said.
DCP Alzafny urged those with information related to the case to contact the nearest police station.
