Dr Wee returns to Ayer Hitam ahead of upcoming Deepavali celebrations

PETALING JAYA: Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has returned to his constituency to join in the upcoming Deepavali celebrations.

"In order to help ease the burden of our constituents, a charity sale will be held in conjunction with Deepavali to allow the public purchase goods at lower prices in preparation for the Festival of Lights," said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Thursday (Oct 24).

"I also made a contribution to the temple and SJKT Ladang Yong Peng," he added.

Dr Wee also took some time to visit several residents in the Ayer Hitam constituency.

"Hopefully, our presence will bring some cheer to them and their families.

"Let us all pray for those who are ill to be granted a speedy recovery," he said.
