Nora Danish rallies behind former husband

THE good ties between actress Nora Danish and her former husband have led to positive comments from netizens, Harian Metro reported.

This came about after she posted encouraging words to Nedim Nazri, 41, who had been admitted to a hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

“Stay strong ‘daddy’,” Nora, 42, said in a social media post along with a photo of Nedim lying on a hospital bed.

Nedim, who recently disclosed his hospitalisation without specifying the reason, received supportive comments after Nora’s gesture.

The couple, who ended their seven-year marriage last week on amicable terms, share a six-year-old son.

“That was nice of Nora. This is being professional,” someone commented.

> Actress Mimi has opened up about her feelings for her former fiance, saying that her love for him had not changed although they did not tie the knot, Kosmo! reported.

Mimi, whose full name is Rozaiana Zainal Abidin, shared the message directed at actor Syafiq Kyle, who marked his 32nd birthday, in an Instagram post on Monday.

“Looking through my photo gallery on your special day is a little painful for me. Time has passed but you will always be a place for me to lean on during good and bad times,” she wrote.

She wished him a happy birthday and described him as her “star”.

Mimi, 29, and Syafiq had dated for several years. However, they called off their wedding ceremony which was supposed to have taken place in August last year.
