ACP Naazron begins duties as Kajang OCPD

KAJANG: Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof has taken the helm as the new Kajang OCPD.

He takes over from Senior Asst Comm Mohd Zaid Hassan, who has been appointed Selangor police's Management department chief.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said Kajang will benefit from the leadership of the new OCPD.

"He has vast experience, including being deputy OCPD in Sarawak and Kuala Lumpur.

"I have no doubt he will be able to lead the district to new heights of successes," he said in his speech after witnessing the handing over of duties on Wednesday (June 26).

Comm Hussein also saluted SAC Mohd Zaid for his service as the Kajang OCPD for more than four years.

"We hope he will continue his distinguished service at Selangor police headquarters," he said.

Comm Hussein urged Kajang police personnel and officers to give their full support to ACP Naazron.

"Give him the support that you have shown all past OCPDs.

"I hope Kajang police will be able to continue to improve on their service to the people," he said.

He also reminded all police personnel to serve with utmost dedication and integrity as the plight of the people must always be a priority.

"Foster better relations with the surrounding communities as our motto is 'Police and society are inseparable'," he said.
