Copter tragedy: Pahang Sultan orders mosques to perform funeral prayer


KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has ordered all mosques in the state to perform the funeral prayer in absentia following the tragic crash involving two helicopters at the Royal Malaysian Navy Base in Lumut, Perak, on Tuesday (April 23).

Comptroller Major General Datuk Mohamed Zahari Datuk Yahya, in a statement, said Al-Sultan Abdullah also conveyed his sadness and grief over the tragedy, which claimed the lives of 10 navy personnel.
