First SBJK in Sabah to start at SK Sembulan on Oct 23


KOTA KINABALU: The Sekolah Bimbingan Jalinan Kasih (SBJK) will start operating in Sabah on Monday (Oct 23) as one of the Education Ministry's efforts to provide access to equal education for all young people in the country, including dropouts, street kids and undocumented children in the state.

The Education Director-General Datuk Pkharuddin Ghazali said the programme implemented at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sembulan near here was the first to be expanded in Sabah with eight students registered so far.
