Dr M should be probed over RM214mil Opcom contract issue, says Puad

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Puad Zakarshi has urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on the revelation that a company linked to the former premier's son received a contract for RM214.2mil, 20 years ago.

The Umno supreme council member said this after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim alleged in his defence statement at the Shah Alam High Court on Thursday (June 15) that Opcom Sdn Bhd received the contract when Dr Mahathir's third son, Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, was a director of the company.
