SJK (T) Ladang Bukit Ijok celebrated its opening with a “grahapravesam” (housewarming) ceremony after four years of construction, Makkal Osai reported.
Deputy Education Minister Lim Hui Ying and ministry officials who visited the school last week announced that it would start operating in September.
The school board has proposed to name the school after former Sepang MIC chairman Datuk VK Sellappan who started the effort to build the school.
