Ismail Sabri has ability to lead the country, says Johor MB

JOHOR BARU: The new Prime Minister will have his work cut out for him especially in managing the Covid-19 pandemic and reviving the economy, says Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad.

In congratulating Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaacob over his appointment, he said Ismail Sabri has the ability to lead the country as he has been the one spearheading the Covid-19 technical committee.

"Our current challenges involve managing the Covid-19 pandemic. I am sure as Prime Minister, he will be able to do much more and produce better results.

"Surely he will have a lot on his plate," he said when contacted.

Hasni also said it was paramount to get everyone in the country vaccinated nationwide.

He stressed the need for everyone including those in the government and opposition to focus their efforts in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Now that this is over (political crisis) let us all work together to help the people in our constituencies," he added.
