KUALA LUMPUR: Local enterprise MR DIY is offering more than 1,000 jobs to Malaysians at its stores nationwide and headquarters in Selangor.
In a statement, MR DIY said there are vacancies at its over 600 stores – from in-house promoters, cashiers to supervisors.
The company is looking for executives as well as middle and senior management personnel at its headquarters. There are also openings for fresh graduates.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has put us in an unprecedented situation where we are simultaneously battling health and economic issues, ” said MR DIY managing director Adrian Ong.
“MR DIY has been able to maintain and grow our workforce, to support the Malaysian economy.
We are pleased to be in a position to attract jobseekers to join our growing team, ” he said.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, and have a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia certificate for cashier and promoter positions, and diploma or degree for supervisory level onwards.
The home improvement retailer's recruitment campaign began on June 1 and will run for three months.
