PETALING JAYA: Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) is providing free meals to its students starting Tuesday (March 24).
To ensure the students' welfare are taken care of, TAR UC will be providing free breakfast, lunch and dinner to 140 of its students who are currently residing in its Kuala Lumpur Main Campus from March 24 to 31.
Kuala Lumpur Main Campus students residing in off-campus accommodation are not forgotten.
"TAR UC's Student Representative Council (SRC) will be getting in touch with these students to assist and provide support in any form during the movement control order (MCO).
"Identity of students will be verified to ensure that only genuine TAR UC students will receive the assistance and support needed," it said in a statement on Monday (March 23).
Students, it added, are advised to keep regular contact with SRC so that TAR UC can continuously provide the needed support to get through the Covid-19 pandemic.
Students residing off-campus accommodation are encouraged to contact TAR UC vice-president Assoc Prof Dr Chook Ka Joo at 012-664 6898 or TAR UC SRC president Sukhmit Singh at 016-930 6729 to arrange for assistance in any way possible.
