GEORGE TOWN: Workers heading to Bayan Baru and Bayan Lepas were caught in one of the worst jams the island has seen following the closure of the coastal section of the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway for the installation of a flyover ramp linking it to the second Penang bridge.
Thousands were late for work by up to three hours and some 100 people missed their flights.
