Long waits reported on EPF app after dividend announcement


PETALING JAYA: There is currently a high number of people logging into the KWSP i-Akaun mobile app.

This comes following the announcement of the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) dividend rate at around 11am on Saturday (Feb 28).

As at 1.50pm, the average wait time to log into the app was 50 minutes.

EPF declared a dividend rate of 6.15% for conventional savings for 2025, with the total payout amounting to RM67.1bil.

Meanwhile, the dividend rate for Syariah savings was 6.15% with the payout totaling to RM12.5bil.
