Perak State Assembly wants to implement dress code

Perak Pakatan assemblymen dressed entirely in black at the opening assembly sitting in March.

IPOH: The Perak Legislative Assembly Standing Order Committee is proposing the implementation of a dress code in the State Assembly after Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen turned up in black attire during the opening of the assembly sitting recently.

"This will ensure all members of the legislative assembly know and understand as well as abide by the customs and ethics of the state assembly," said Speaker Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany.
