THE State Assembly Members Information System (eADN) has been launched in Perak, providing a digital platform to streamline the management of information for both serving and retired state assembly members.
The system allows online processing of applications by current members, retirees, or their beneficiaries, making the administration of member records more efficient and organised.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said with the platform slated to be available from January onwards, applications would be less dependent on manual procedures.
He said the platform involves various stakeholders, including the mentri besar, assembly speaker, assemblymen, retirees and their beneficiaries.
"The system incorporates access levels to ensure secure and transparent management, review, and verification of information in line with the government digital security standards.
"The system features key modules including personal information, medical facilities, road tax exemption, various forms, and information on service centres.
"System owners can also access additional modules such as service statements, pension and rewards, system administration and announcements," he said after the launching on Friday (Nov 28) at the sidelines of the state assembly sitting.
Saarani expressed confidence that, with input from the members, the Council of Former Elected Representatives (Mubarak), and government agencies, the system would be operational from January 1 next year, and accessible via eadn.perak.gov.my.
"The system is designed to save time, improve data accuracy, and provide a more organised approach to managing information for our assembly members and their families," he said.
