Thunderstorm warning for Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor until noon


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting four states until noon on Saturday (March 14).

MetMalaysia, in a warning issued at 8.50am on Saturday, said the states involved are Penang, Perak, Pahang and Selangor.

In Penang, the affected areas are Barat Daya and Timur Laut, while in Perak the warning covers Kerian, Larut, Matang and  Selama, Manjung, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak.

The same warning was also issued for Kuantan and Pekan in Pahang, as well as Sabak Bernam in Selangor. — Bernama
