IJM LAND RIDES INTO THE YEAR OF THE HORSE

The Astro Chinese New Year Countdown Gala 2026 will be held at IJM Rimbayu on Jan 31.

IJM Land is ringing in the season of new beginnings and riding into the Year of the Horse with a series of family-friendly celebrations across its seven sales galleries and townships nationwide.

The developer’s CNY Open Houses will bring the festivities to its communities in IJM Rimbayu (Selangor), IJM Bayouri (Penang), Pantai Sentral Park and Riana Dutamas (Kuala Lumpur), Seremban 2 (Negri Sembilan), and Austin Duta and Nasa City (Johor), showcasing the sights, sounds and traditions of Chinese New Year.

Visitors can look forward to vibrant and culturally rich activities such as calligraphy, crafts and lantern-making workshops, lion dances, prosperity tosses, cultural performances, festive decor, traditional flavours and exclusive property previews and promotions.

These open houses allow prospective buyers and residents to immerse themselves in IJM Land’s thoughtfully designed communities while celebrating the Lunar New Year with family and friends.

Countdown to CNY

Leading the charge into the Year of the Horse, IJM Land is partnering with Astro to host the Astro Chinese New Year Countdown Gala 2026 at IJM Rimbayu on Jan 31, from 6.30pm onwards.

The collaboration with Astro will then culminate with a Chap Goh Mei celebration at Seremban 2’s S2 Heights Aman Gallery on March 7, from 5pm onwards. Admission to both events is free.

The events aim to bring communities together for a joyful start to the year, featuring concert-style performances with local and international artistes, fireworks displays and lively cultural marketplaces.

The Chap Goh Mei celebration at Seremban 2 will culminate with a dazzling fireworks finale.

Sharing joy

IJM Land chief executive officer Datuk Tony Ling Thou Lung said that the developer is organising these festive events for its communities, as celebrations are most meaningful when people come together in joy and reunion.

“This Chinese New Year, we celebrate the spirit of togetherness and embrace cherished traditions.

“As families and communities come together to welcome a new beginning, we celebrate the connections that unite us, the diversity that enriches us and the aspirations that carry us forward.

“May the Year of the Horse bring renewed energy, good health and happiness to all,” he said.
