SHAH ALAM: PAS exco members Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, Sallehin Mukhyi and Dr Halimah Ali are attending Wednesday's Selangor exco meeting, despite calls by DAP and PKR to boycott it.
They unanimously said they would follow PAS' stand on this matter.
A source from the Mentri Besar's office confirmed that the fourth PAS exco Iskandar Samad was also in the meeting.
Dr Halimah said as she was still an exco member, she would continue to perform her duties accordingly.
"But I am not sure who is going to attend the meeting apart from the PAS exco members," she told reporters at the state secretariat building here.
DAP's Teng Chang Khim and V. Ganabatirau were the only exco members to have arrived as at 10am.
However, they both said they would not be attending the meeting.
Ganabatirau said he received his termination letter when he arrived at his office at about 9am.
"But I also received the meeting's agenda and my access card still works," he said.
PKR exco Elizabeth Wong, who arrived at the state secretariat building at 10.30am, said she will not be attending the exco meeting, which started at 10am.
Urging PAS exco members not to take part in the meeting, Wong said she would be holding a press conference with the other four sacked exco members later in the day.
Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, when met at the lobby earlier, told reporters that DAP and PKR exco members were barred from entering the meeting.
