Man found dead beneath electricity pole in Klang


KLANG: The body of a man was found beneath an electricity pole on Jalan Akob, Kampung Kapar, here on Sunday (Oct 4).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received a call about the incident at 10.02am.

He said six firefighters from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene at 10.11am.

“Upon arrival, firefighters found the body of a man under an electricity pole.

“The team is awaiting further instructions from the police before handing over the body to the police for further action,” he said in a statement today.

Ashrul Riezal said the case was being handled by the police.
