PETALING JAYA: Train services on the MRT Putrajaya Line are experiencing delays following a power disruption caused by a cable theft incident near the Taman Equine station.
According to a Rapid KL Facebook post on Sunday (Oct 4), technical teams conducted repair work on-site to restore the power supply and resume normal operations.
To keep passengers moving, alternative train loops have been activated across the line.
Services running from Kwasa Damansara will turn back at UPM every 10 minutes.

Complementing the modified train schedules, free feeder buses are running in both directions between MRT Serdang Jaya and MRT Putrajaya Sentral.
The shuttle route covers all intermediate stations, including MRT UPM, MRT Taman Equine, MRT Putra Permai, MRT 16 Sierra, MRT Cyberjaya Utara, and MRT Cyberjaya City Centre.
Buses are scheduled to run every 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions, with live tracking links available through the MyRapid Bus kiosk system.
Commuters needing assistance are advised to speak with Station Officers or Auxiliary Police officers stationed at the sites. Rapid Rail will provide further updates as restoration efforts progress.
