Selangor Mega Food Fest 2026 is set to showcase the state’s food, culture and entertainment scene from Oct 2 to 4 at Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang.
One of the flagship tourism events under Visit Selangor Year 2026, the festival aims to position the state as a leading gastronomy and lifestyle destination in the region.
Organised by Tourism Selangor, the three-day festival will feature more than 60 food and beverage vendors.
It will offer a variety of traditional, contemporary and trending dishes reflecting the state’s culinary heritage.
Visitors can also look forward to food exhibitions, culinary demonstrations, eating challenges, cultural performances, interactive sports activities and creative workshops.
Food zones will showcase Selangor’s traditional culinary heritage alongside trending urban food offerings and locally developed products through Platform Selangor (PLATS).
A key highlight of this year’s festival is the launch of the Signature Selangor Campaign.
The Tourism Selangor campaign is a new initiative to celebrate and promote the state’s iconic food and beverages.
The campaign will feature culinary products synonymous with Selangor, reflecting its cultural heritage, diversity and distinctive local flavours.
The festival will also feature performances by local artistes Bunga and Mohsein Kush.
Live entertainment will continue with Cherpen and Sofazr performing on Oct 2, TIP Band on Oct 3, and legendary rock bands Kristal X and XPDC on Oct 4.
Beyond food and entertainment, the festival is a platform for local food and beverage entrepreneurs to promote their products, expand networks and explore business opportunities.
The initiative is in line with Selangor government’s efforts to support local enterprises, stimulate the tourism economy and strengthen its position as a gastronomic hub.
The festival will be launched by Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
It is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors, and contribute to Visit Selangor Year 2026’s broader goals to welcome nine million tourists and generate an estimated RM12bil in tourism receipts.
