JOYFUL smiles and loud cheers filled Aman Central in Kedah as the shopping mall marked a major milestone with a myriad of rewards for shoppers.
Prizes worth a whopping RM182,000 were given away in a grand lucky draw that wrapped up its 10th Anniversary campaign, themed “A Decade of Evolut10n”.
This included the grand prize of a brand-new MG S5 electric vehicle (EV) valued at RM120,000 – won by Pendang school teacher Azra Azira Ahmad, aged 50.
Officiating the recent (May 29) ceremony were Belleview Group managing director Datuk Seri Sonny Ho, his wife Datin Seri Suryani, and director Grace Ho.
The mall’s assistant general manager of marketing communications Ken Chin said the anniversary campaign underscored their remarkable evolution from a local shopping destination in Alor Setar, into one of northern peninsular Malaysia’s leading lifestyle and retail hubs.

“A Decade of Evolut10n was more than a reflection of time.
It celebrated our continuous journey of growth, transformation, innovation and meaningful community connection.
“It was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation to all the shoppers, tenants and partners who supported us over the past 10 years since we first opened our doors,” Chin said in his speech.
Among the other impressive prizes won by shoppers included a Gintell massage chair worth RM14,988, Cosas United products worth RM16,799, Watsons products worth RM3,900, PUMA cash vouchers worth RM4,550, a Tomei 18K White Gold Diamond Pendant Set worth RM2,000 and Pandora products worth RM2,920.
There were also Swatch products worth RM3,850, a Swarovski necklace worth RM2,500, Babyshop vouchers worth RM1,500, Levi’s Trucker Jackets worth RM2,045, KPIX vouchers worth RM1,000, JATI Signature Pusa Finest Basmathi Rice packs worth RM4,800, Colegacy vouchers worth RM1,500 and others from participating brand partners.
Besides shortlisted finalists, there were also media representatives, influencers, business partners and invited guests in attendance for the prize ceremony held at the Central Atrium.
The finalists were first asked to select mystery envelopes containing alphabets, each corresponding to a prize.
These were revealed progressively in ascending order of value.

The final two shoppers then advanced to the grand prize challenge involving 10 mystery keys and a locked transparent glass box containing the actual MG S5 electric vehicle (EV) car key.
They took turns trying different keys, until Azra Azira’s key finally unlocked the box, confirming her as the proud new owner and triggering loud applause from spectators.
Chin said this was Aman Central’s second EV giveaway in as many years, reflecting their commitment to innovation, enhancing customer experiences and promoting sustainability.
The EV was sponsored in collaboration with Auto Gallery Cartrade Sdn Bhd whom he also thanked for their long-standing support.
The dealership – represented by senior advisor Hayazi Abdul Halim at the ceremony – had partnered the mall for the annual lucky draw campaigns for nine consecutive years now.
“We were truly encouraged by the overwhelming response to the A Decade of Evolut10n campaign, which generated a remarkable RM4.7mil in spending.
“This represented a strong 20.5% year-on-year increase compared to the RM3.9mil recorded in the previous year’s campaign.
“Such numbers reflect the growing shopper confidence, loyalty and support towards Aman Central as we continue to evolve and elevate our offerings for the community,” Chin said.
Looking ahead, he added that the mall is set to enhance its tenant mix with new brands such as Coach, Dolly Dim Sum, Sopoong, MA Chinese Muslim Roti, Jom Amigo and the highly-anticipated Oriental Kopi. Uniqlo would also be making its much-anticipated return.
“With the strong foundations built over the past decade, Aman Central remains committed to continuously bringing fresh experiences, dynamic retail offerings and memorable moments to the community for many more years to come,” Chin added.
