Dwell in nostalgia, tradition at Klang Valley malls

Massive blooms and cosy seating nooks feature at KLGCC Mall.

MALLS in the Klang Valley are getting into the Raya spirit with festive decor.

In Kuala Lumpur, KLGCC Mall in Bukit Kiara is abloom with flowers for its “Mekar Syawal” theme, while KL East Mall reminisces with “Nostalgia Lebaran”.

Elmina Lakeside Mall in Shah Alam, Selangor, is resplendent with tradition under its “Laman Tradisi Mekar Aidilfitri” theme.

Each Sime Darby Property mall draws visitors with unique embellishments, lively marketplaces and a host of activities.

KLGCC Mall’s botanical decorations incorporate huge blooms, seating nooks inspired by gold birdcages and a floral main stage.

At KL East Mall, a kampung scene is set up as the backdrop for traditional dance and silat performances and games such as congkak and batu seremban.

Elmina Lakeside Mall, adorned in village-style, will host “Kompang Fusion” performances, flashmobs and a live band playing Raya hits.

Shoppers will also be delighted by the variety of baju raya, delicacies, hampers, artisanal gifts and decor items, making each mall a perfect one-stop shop for festive preparations.
