ISKANDAR Puteri continues to attract strong interest from property buyers due to its strategic location within the country’s first economic growth corridor, Iskandar Malaysia.

On that note, KSL Holdings Bhd is upbeat that its new mixed development project Riveria Garden@Wawari in Iskandar Puteri will create interest among prospective buyers.

Iskandar Puteri is one of the development zones and a key component of Iskandar Malaysia.

“Interest, especially for landed houses, remains strong within Iskandar Puteri,’’ said KSL Holdings director Khoo Lee Feng.

She said Phase One, comprising 530 Aluna I double-storey terrace houses with built-up area of 2,219sq ft and priced from RM800,000, sold out during the pre-launch period.

Lee Feng, who is also Riveria Garden@Bandar Wawari Sdn Bhd director, said Phase Two –Aluna II – was slated for launch in mid-2026.

“The majority of Aluna I buyers are young families, first-time house owners, the newly married as well as locals working in Singapore,” she said after the launch of the project by Johor investment, trade, consumer affairs and human resources committee chairman Lee Ting Han.

“The strong selling point of our latest project is its close proximity to the Second Link in Gelang Patah.”

Lee Feng said the township’s advantage was expected to be boosted by completion of the Sultan Ismail interchange.

Together with Kota Iskandar Highway, this would provide seamless connectivity to the Iskandar Coastal Highway and the Second Link, she said.

The nature-inspired, gated and guarded township features a landscaped riverfront park and RM20mil clubhouse.

She said the project, spanning 415ha with gross development value (GDV) of RM15bil, secured the group’s long-term growth trajectory for the coming decades.

The project is also located within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) making it a good buy for owner-occupiers and investors.

At the launch were Johor Mentri Besar’s chief private secretary Dr Joharudin Samion @ Mingan and Kota Iskandar assemblyman Datuk Pandak Ahmad.

Also present were Iskandar Investment Bhd president and chief executive officer and Iskandar Capital Sdn Bhd chairman Datuk Idzham Mohd Hashim, as well as KSL Holdings executive chairman Ku Hwa Seng and director Khoo Cheng Hai.

Founded in 1979, KSL Group is a leading integrated property developer with a strong presence in Johor and the Klang Valley.
