KL Bomba records four landslides, three fallen trees following continuous downpour


THE KUALA Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department Operations Command Centre responded to seven emergencies on Monday (Nov 24) following heavy rainfall, comprising four landslides and three incidents involving fallen trees.

In a statement at 6pm Monday, the department said the landslides occurred at low-cost apartments in Jalan Sepadu 6 at 11.02am, Jalan Maarof at 11.20am, Jalan Medang Tanduk at 3.32pm and at the Sri Lempah Flats in Lorong Jugra at 4.32pm.

The team were also deployed to calls on fallen trees at Jalan Ang Seng 4 at 9.24am, Jalan Langgak Golf at 11.10am and Jalan Kiara 5 at 5.45pm.

All emergency calls were attended to with assistance from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL).

The team remained stationed at several locations requiring ongoing monitoring and were on standby for any further incidents.
