Gas Malaysia Bhd has contributed to Tabung Selangor Prihatin in support of victims affected by the April 1 fire in Putra Heights.

A cheque handover ceremony took place at the Selangor State Secretary office, attended by key representatives from the state government and Gas Malaysia.

The financial contribution, jointly made by the company and its employees, was presented by Gas Malaysia group marketing executive vice-president Mohamad Farid Ghazali to state financial officer Datuk Dr Haniff Zainal Abidin.

This joint effort reflected the shared commitment to support those in need during challenging times.

“This aid reflects our solidarity with the affected community and our continued support for the state government’s efforts to provide timely relief and assistance,” Mohamad Farid said.

“We hope that it will help ease the burden of those impacted and assist in their recovery and rebuilding process.”

Over 200 homes were destroyed in the fire.
