Consistent eco-friendly housing solutions have scored city developer SkyWorld Development Bhd its fifth BCI Asia award.

The ceremony, held at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, saw Skyworld recognised as one of the Top 10 Developers in 2024.

The event saw distinguished guests and industry leaders gather to celebrate excellence in building and architecture design industries.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi launched the event and presented the awards.

BCI Asia Awards recognises property developers and architecture firms with the highest value project portfolios across seven Asian territories, namely Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Present to receive the award for SkyWorld was its chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng.

“SkyWorld is humbled to be recognised among the top developers in Malaysia, highlighting our commitment to creating sustainable and high-quality developments,” said Lee.

“Receiving the BCI Asia Top 10 Developers Award 2024 is an honour that reflects our team’s dedication to delivering innovative and eco-friendly housing solutions.

“We will continue to ensure our projects meet the highest standards and exceed expectations,” he added.

The recognition reflected Skyworld’s focus on sustainable development and community-centric projects, Lee said, adding that it also credited the company’s efforts to push beyond perceived limits and contribute to Malaysia’s urban landscape.
