WITH a few more days until Deepavali, T. Vasentha is kept busy attending to customers looking for both sweet and savoury snacks.

Her shop in Buntong, Ipoh in Perak, sells over 50 varieties of savouries like murukku as well as ubiquitous Deepavali treats such as kal urundai (green bean balls), semolina ghee balls and regular ghee balls.
