Klang council president appointed as new Selangor state finance officer

KLANG: Council president Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin has been appointed as the new Selangor state finance officer effective Thursday (Dec 16), the State Secretary’s office announced via its Facebook page.

Ahmad Fadzli, 49, is the Klang Municipal Council’s 12th president and has served in that position since April 2020, under a two-year term.

He fills the position that was vacated by Datuk Haris Kasim, who was appointed state secretary in early this year.

Before becoming council president, Ipoh-born Ahmad Fadzli served at the National Institute of Public Administration as management development and innovation cluster head.
