Keeping fruit sellers in check

MCC and Immigration Department officers carrying out an operation to weed out illegal traders at Tamu Muhibbah.

MIRI: Fruit sellers in the city have been issued compound notices by Miri City Council (MCC) for illegal trading at roadsides and public places.

This is in light of increasing complaints on traffic obstruction and indiscriminate dumping of fruit waste.
