Selangor Travel Fair is returning for its 2026 edition from July 25 to 26.
Taking place at Central Market Kuala Lumpur, the fair will run from 10am to 10pm on both days. It is expected to welcome over 40,000 visitors across the weekend.
The event will feature 35 exhibitors, such as Selangor Fruit Valley, GL Play by Gamuda, Amverton Cove Golf & Island Resort, Windmill Funpark, i-City Travel and more.
Additionally, the event marks the 25th anniversary of Tourism Selangor, which celebrates its Silver Jubilee this month.
Beyond travel products that include tourism experiences and deals, visitors can expect activities involving arts, culture, crafts and music at the event.
Selangor continues to be a popular tourism destination. Based on data by the Department of Statistics Malaysia’s Domestic Tourism Survey 2025, Selangor was the most visited state in Malaysia last year, placing it ahead of KL and Perak.
Selangor welcomed 36.4 million domestic visitors in 2025, noting a 5.5% increase from the 34.5 million visitors that the state received in 2024.
The rise in visitors is attributed to the Visit Selangor 2025 campaign, which enhanced the state’s visibility through promotional efforts, strategic partnerships and tourism initiatives.
Visit Selangor – which carries two campaign slogans, Surpri-sing Selangor and Selangor Kan Ada – continues this year. This extension is done in support of the nationwide Visit Malaysia 2026, which aims to welcome 47 million tourists this year.
