When Dr Anjhula Mya Singh Bais and I first met six years ago, the engaging and thoughtful international psychologist trauma specialist wore a suit made from a beautifully-patterned fabric, one of her favourite ensembles at the time.
This wasn’t just any suit, as it was made by Rwandan widows and picked up by Anjhula during one of her many humanitarian missions, where she would immerse herself in the culture of the community to try and fully understand the people she engaged with.
