To award-winning barista Irvine Quek, a cup of coffee is like a person.

“First impressions are important. If someone looks good, you’d be interested to talk to the person more. In the same way, latte art is the image of the coffee. When the visual impact is good, you’d want to know more about the coffee or in this case, drink it. When it tastes good, it’s like having a taste of the person’s personality, ” explains Quek, 21.
