The first season of HBO's hit Game Of Thrones prequel series, House Of The Dragon, comes to an end next week, with Westeros on the brink of a Targaryen civil war, and plenty of fire and blood to come.

While fans of the hit series may not necessarily want to feast upon fire and blood, they can, however, check out the new Wolf Blass’ Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz, a limited-edition wine commemorating House Of The Dragon. The wine is a collaboration between Australia's Treasury Wine Estates’ award-winning Wolf Blass brand, and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The wine is available in three unique HOTD-themed labels. The wine is available in three unique HOTD-themed labels.Called a "deliciously fiery, high quality, classic Australian red blend wine", the wine is available in three uniquely striking, limited-edition labels, and is a classic Australian blend of Cabernet sauvignon 52% and Shiraz 48% from the 2021 vintage and matured with a mix of French and American oak.

On the nose, you'll get notes of dark fruits, blackberry and ripe plums, with a lift of varietal cabernet on the nose and a hint of savoury spice. The shiraz comes out more in the mid-palate, with sumptuous fruity sweetness, plush fruits, and well balanced with structural oak and supportive tannins.

Established in the Barossa Valley in 1966, Wolf Blass is one of the world’s most successful and awarded wine brands, having received more than 10,000 medals and trophies at national and international wine shows.
