Actress Lana Nodin completes first umrah with husband David McKienzie and 2 kids

Lana Nodin, or her real name, Mazlina Hassan Nodin, 44, who is married to American volleyball player David McKienzie shared the heartwarming news on her social media platform, Instagram on Monday (Dec 16) expressing gratitude for the opportunity on the spiritual journey with her loved ones.

"Alhamdulillah I'm a very proud wife (to my husband), mum (to my children) and daughter (to my parents) as we have completed our first umrah for the first time as a family.

"Thank you Allah SWT for inviting us to come here and make my doa (prayers) come true. Especially to my husband @david_mckienzie, no words can describe how happy (I am and the) love and respect I have for you...thank you Allah SWT for (the) hidayah you (have) given to my family," she wrote in the post.

She also shared a video documenting herself, her husband and their two children performing umrah.

The video captured an emotional moment as Lana was seen moved to tears upon arriving in Mecca and seeing the Kaaba for the first time.

Born in Kuching, Sarawak, Lana began her entertainment career in 2005 and quickly gained recognition, earning the nickname "Malaysian Pamela Anderson."

Throughout her career, Lana has appeared in numerous films and television series, with her role in Gol & Gincu cementing her status as a talented actress.

She married McKienzie on May 15, 2015. They have two children, an eight-year-old daughter, Gia Quinn and a five-year-old son, William.

McKienzie is a former Olympian who represented the United States in volleyball, having played for California State University, Long Beach and participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics as a member of the US national team.

Lana is currently starring in the drama series Pengantin Pasti Jadi, a 20-episode show that began airing on July 11. – Sinar Daily
